Our Story
About What We Do & How We Got Here
At the Texas Entrepreneurs Association, our mission is simple but powerful: to build a vibrant, inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem across Texas. We help individuals—from aspiring business owners to seasoned professionals—gain the knowledge, tools, and support they need to launch, grow, and sustain successful ventures.
But our story didn’t begin in a boardroom. It started with a real need we saw in our communities: too many talented, hardworking people lacked access to the right resources, education, or guidance to turn their ideas into reality. Some needed help starting a small business. Others needed financial literacy to manage their personal or business finances. Many didn’t know that becoming a licensed insurance agent could be a path to business ownership and independence.
So we decided to change that.
Founded by a group of professionals, entrepreneurs, and educators with deep roots in Texas, the association was created to connect ambition with action, ideas with opportunity, and people with pathways to growth.
